July 13, 2026 Cyclosporiasis outbreak
Health officials are currently tracking a large outbreak of cyclosporiasis in Michigan, including cases in Washtenaw County. Cyclospora is a parasite that causes gastrointestinal symptoms such as severe diarrhea. The source of the outbreak has not yet been identified.
