Dear U-M Ann Arbor campus community member,

I’m pleased to share with you a new tool that allows you to submit and view the status of your COVID-19 vaccination information submission to the university.

The new tool, Vax Viewer, is available to all students, faculty and staff — including Michigan Medicine —  on the Ann Arbor, Flint and Dearborn campuses. It is only being used to collect and view COVID-19 vaccination information. This website will not replace ResponsiBLUE, which incorporates a daily symptom check and assessment of testing for those with an approved vaccine exemption, and is still needed to gain entry into certain buildings on the Ann Arbor campus.

To submit or view the status of your COVID-19 vaccination submission, please visit the COVID-19 collection in Wolverine Access, click Vax Viewer, and sign in with your U-M weblogin credentials.

Vax Viewer will show the COVID-19 vaccination information that has been submitted to the university and the status of those submissions with regard to the university’s COVID-19 vaccination requirement. It will also include links for uploading vaccination information or for requesting a vaccination exemption or postponement.

U-M students, faculty and staff who are submitting new vaccination documents or have questions about the status of documents already submitted should check the Vax Viewer for updates. The system is updated daily by 8 a.m. Information submitted today will show up in the system after 8 a.m. tomorrow.

U-M students, faculty, and staff who have submitted all required documents can view their current status in vaxviewer.umich.edu. If you are already in compliance with all COVID-19 vaccination requirements, no further action is required.

Contact the Campus COVID-19 Call Center if you have questions about the Vax Viewer or need assistance submitting your information. The Call Center can be reached at 734-936-7000, Monday-Sunday 9 a.m. – 8 p.m.

You can read more about the tool in the University Record.

Sincerely,

Robert Ernst
