Dear students,
Welcome to a new school year at the University of Michigan. Here are some updates and reminders to start your semester with health and wellness at the forefront.
- Need to talk? University Health & Counseling offers a range of free counseling options through CAPS, including virtual teletherapy sessions through Uwill, drop-in sessions with Let’s Talk, and many other services.
- Visit UHC for a range of medical services, such as primary care, episodic illness, injury management, and treatment for depression, anxiety, and ADHD.
- UHC is also a trusted resource for gynecological and sexual healthcare, including long-acting contraception. Financial resources are now available for students concerned about cost.
- Michigan Recreation has expanded and is ready to rock. Check out the brand-new, long-anticipated Hadley Rec Center, NOW OPEN. And enjoy free Group-X classes from August 31 through September 13.
- If you choose to drink alcohol, remember to Stay in the Blue. Use the recently updated Stay in the Blue app to plan ahead and track your intake (available in both the App & Play stores).
Have a great start to the semester and stay healthy, Wolverines,

Vax Up, Umich!
Vaccination clinics are scheduled throughout the semester and across campus. Stop by to get protection against the next respiratory season. All clinics currently offer influenza vaccines; COVID-19 vaccines will be added as soon as they are available.
